Install USB OTG Support TWRP on OnePlus 2 [Grarak Recovery]

TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project) is the all time best recovery of Android Smartphones. This Recovery will allow you to install custom ROMs, advanced options like formatting the system partition, making backups etc. This custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. We started from the ground up by taking AOSP recovery and loading it with the standard recovery options, then added a lot of our own features.
        OnePlus 2
It’s a fully touch driven user interface – no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel. Some of the key features of Official TWRP Recovery are:
        • Touchscreen driven with real buttons and drag-to-scroll
        • XML-based GUI that allows full customization of the layout true theming!
        • Settings are saved to the internal storage and persist through reboots
        • Ability to choose which partitions to back up and which to restore
        • Ability to choose to compress backups now with pigz (multi-core processor support for faster compression times)
        • Onscreen keyboard
        • Decryption of /data
        • Easy selection of OTG storage
OnePlus 2 got the Official TWRP, but it does not Support OTG. That means you can not flash Custom ROMs or any flashable Zip file on OnePlus 2 via your Pen drive. If your device got a soft brick and you want to install the Fresh Stock ROM from your Pen drive, it is not possible via Official TWRP. A future update of TWRP may fix this Bug but for now, we have a great alternate.

Recognised Developer Grarak, who is the main Gun of Official CM 13 for OnePlus 2, had developed his own custom build modified TWRP recovery that supports USB OTG. With this recovery, you can install a ROM, or a flashable Zip directly from your Pen Drive or any OTG enabled Flash Drive.

Disclaimer: Please read the following instructions thoroughly before attempting to flash your phone. Droidphoria.com absolves itself from any responsibility should something go wrong. Please proceed with caution and at your own risk.

No one wants that, right?
Step 1: Unlock the Bootloader of your OnePlus 2 using this easy tutorial and install official TWRP as well. (Skip if your bootloader is already unlocked and a twrp is installed from before)

Step 3: Connect and mount your OnePlus 2 USB memory to your computer using the USB cable.

Disclaimer: Please read the following instructions thoroughly before attempting to flash your phone. Droidphoria.com absolves itself from any responsibility should something go wrong. Please proceed with caution and at your own risk.
NOTE: Make sure your Android device is charged up to 80-85% battery level. Why? Because, if your phone goes off suddenly while installing a custom ROM, flashing an official firmware update or installing mods, etc. — your phone might get bricked or go dead permanently. No one wants that, right?
        To Remember:
        • This tutorial is only for  Honor 5X, and we are not sure if it will work on the other variants of the Huawei on other carriers.
        • Your phone can be on any previous Android version of Huawei, not on a custom ROM. Otherwise, this tutorial will not work.
        • This Firmware is a complete update file, so it is not important which firmware you have now.
        • Enjoy EMUI 4.0 based on Android M on your device and let us know your review about it!

Please wait for some time. That’s it! Your Honor 5X should now have EMUI 4.0 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow installed on your phone! Go to Settings > About phone to verify.

Alternatively, you can go to the dialer of your Honor 5X and enter the following code:
        * # * # 2846579159 # * # *.
Once done, it opens a hidden service menu. There you have the tenth option of Hota Upgrade. Select it and then the update will start automatically. That’s it. Reboot and enjoy your latest marshmallow ROM.

        Troubleshoot Guide for Boot Loop:

Forced upgrade: In case your phone is bricked, turn it off completely, then boot your device by holding Vol down + Vol up + Power button at the same time. Release the Power button upon vibration and wait for the upgrade to start. Alternatively, you can try a Hard reset from your stock recovery.

*You can find an upgrade manual in the zip for reference.

OnePlus 3 USB Driver for PC:

OnePlus 3 has its own set of proprietary USB drivers which need to be installed. After installation, your computer will correctly recognize your OnePlus 3 hence avoiding any malfunctions or corrupt data transfers. OnePlus 3 uses USB Type-C port which promises exceptional data read/write speeds. Also, this should be your first step on readying your PC or Mac to communicate with your OnePlus 3 and you should have these drivers installed especially if your are going to use third-party tools or the Fastboot / Bootloader mode.

USB drivers for OnePlus 3 are always bundled with the phone or MTP drivers are part of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow / Oxygen OS 3.0 software that comes with the phone. For transferring media content, photos and other files from your phone, you need to have a USB-C cable (preferably the one you got with the phone) for the phone.

        TWRP for OnePlus 3:

TWRP Touch Recovery will allow you to install custom ROMs, advanced options like formatting the system partition, making backups etc. The entire tutorial has been given below for those who want to install this custom recovery on their phones. Here are a few details about TWRP:

Team Win Recovery Project, for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. We started from the ground up by taking AOSP recovery and loading it with the standard recovery options, then added a lot of our own features.

        CyanogenMod 13 for OnePlus 3:

OnePlus had called the Developers to tinker with OnePlus 3, and if you are not convinced that the device is off to a good start, this latest bit of news will do the trick:

The OnePlus 3 already got unofficial CyanogenMod 13 as well as Custom Recovery by a Recognized Developer Grarak (all time Gun of OnePlus family). To get it on your device (once it gets to your doorstep, of course), you just have to unlock the bootloader, flash the recovery, and then flash the ROM (with gapps) — easy, quick, no unlock codes for the bootloader and no voided warranties making you think twice.

There are a few known issues with the CM 13 by Grarak ROM as of right now, including no F2FS, worse battery life than Oxygen OS, some camera issues and unoptimized performance (given that the Snapdragon 820 is a rather recent platform).

        Kernel Source for OnePlus 3:

This section is ONLY for Developers who want to Build Something new for the OnePlus 3.

        Highlights:
        • The files are available on Github for download.
        • OnePlus released the files a day after the OnePlus 3's launch.
        • The files allow developers to build custom software for the phone.
